holiday gift wrapping ideas: inspiration to wrap gifts creatively
personalize craft paper
Using craft paper is one of my favorite ways to wrap Christmas gifts. You can personalize the paper to each recipient by lettering their name, or a holiday design they would appreciate. If you are extra artsy, you can even add your own bows or Christmas designs by drawing on the paper. The craft paper acts as a blank canvas and can be easily dressed up with colored markers, bows, greenery and gift tags. Year after year, I find this option never goes out of style!
make your own gift basket
Assembling your own gift basket is an easy way to make a gift feel more personal. If you are giving items that pair well together, like a keepsake ornament for a new baby and a photo frame, consider placing them in cute gift basket with holiday themed paper and a gift tag. In this gift basket, I paired a cute pet themed coffee mug, with some fresh ground coffee from a local shop, and a dog toy for a pet loving friend. This is an easy way to show you put a little extra thought in picking out the gift.
just add a bow!
This simple gift wrap option works especially well if you are gifting an item like a wine glass, or a coffee mug. Simply pair the coffee mug with the recipients favorite blend of coffee and add a cute bow. The same can be done with a cocktail or wine glass and a small bottle of spirits. Wrap up the bottle and glass with a holiday themed bow and gift a cute little "cup of cheer," this holiday season.
use a keepsake ornament as gift tag
Use traditional wrapping paper to wrap your gift, but instead of opting for a stick on gift tag, add a cute personalized keepsake ornament to your gift. If you are giving to a pet lover, opt for a pawprint photo ornament with their pet's photo. For new grandparents, finish their gifts off by adding a keepsake ornament with baby's footprint or photo. Or, to completely personalize your gift try this letterboard keepsake ornament and add a message of your choosing. Instead of being tossed into the garbage like a normal gift tag, these keepsake ornaments will live on and become cherished heirlooms. If you try any of these gift wrap ideas, we would love to see!
